Gupt Godavari Caves

Chitrakoot Dham (Karwi) is district headquarters and a municipal board in Chitrakoot district in the state of Uttar Pradesh, India.
Visited the place twice and every time found it very adventurous, entering into the natural cave may be little scary for somebody but pleasantly cool environment of the cave can surprise you as it provides a natural air conditioning along with natural mineral water if taken from source of origin.
This place is so amazing it should be a part of top attraction in India. The caves are so peculiar and seems to be crafted in thousands of years by nature itself. Its a must visit place.
Really amazing caves ,you can have a wonderful experience to visit these caves. It has great shape and moving in these caves looks terrible and exciting. You have to move carefully ,running can heart foot, what I did and got a bit injury.
went there a long time ago... the caves are just amazing... water precipitation on the walls... little suffocating when you cross through... but worth going ... I mean water touching your feet while you walking in cave... plus one rocking hanging through, just with a thin support... natural wonder .. Do not visit in summer, it's too hot.
The cave is maintained nicely. Its a long cave and there is water till waist or may be little above waist inside the caves. We have to walk in the water above the sharp stone. Water is warm and what surprised me is the source of water is unbeknown. You will not see any water fall or any other water...
Gupt-Godavari is situated at a distance of 21 km from hotel. Here is a pair of caves, one high and wide with an entrance through which one can barely pass, and the other long and narrow with stream of water running along its base.
