One of the ancient places in Chitrakoot. Religious place for HINDUS. Boating is the main attraction for the tourists.This Mandakini river ghat is centrally placed in Chitrakoot, and has many religious place around it. The main attraction is boat ride which is very relaxing and super cheap. The Ram Ghat is very clean now in compare to how it used to be an year before. I tried boat rowing which was an experience in itself.
Mandakini River banks are called Ram ghat in chitrakoot, It said that lord Ram,Sita and lakshman took dip in here. The place is good to spend few hours relaxing and in evening you can be a part of ganga aarti.

Bharat Milap Mandir on Ram Ghat is the place where Bharat took the Sandals of Rama and installed on the throne in Ayodhya. After getting sunburnt for the whole day, spending Janmastami evening on the colourful boats.
Awesome place. Best time to visit is during rainy season in early morning when the sun rises. Do boating or rent a boat and relax in waters of Mandakini river.
One has to start visiting various attractions of chitrakoot from ramghat.reason one of the oldest siv linga is here,which was worshipped by lord rama.morning one can perform abhishekam there after can proceed to kamadgiri pradakshanam.evenig harathi at ram ghat is spectacular event.
